こんにちは。
お正月も終わり、街も徐々に日常の雰囲気に戻りつつありますね。
昨日はラグビースクールの初蹴り。
みんな寒い中、頑張っていました。
帝京大学が負けちゃいましたね。
決勝に行ったら応援に行こうと思っていてので、とても残念でした。
しかし、9連覇なんて記録が破られるなんてことがあるんでしょうか。
また来シーズン、挑戦者となった帝京大学ラグビー部に期待します。
お正月の三が日。
ついつい食べ過ぎ、飲み過ぎてしまい体重が増えてしまった方も多いのではないでしょうか？
「ダイエットしなきゃ！」
と思っても実行するまでにはいくつもの障害が存在します。
運動シンドイし、食べ物美味しい季節だし、外は寒いし。
重い腰はなかなか上がりませんよね。
今日は、あなたのモチベーションをグッと上げる冬こそダイエット！と断言できる三つの理由をお話します。
○冬がダイエットに最適な理由その1
【基礎代謝が上がる】
のっけから基礎代謝なんて分かりにくいワードですみません。
基礎代謝とは、人間が呼吸をしているくらいで安静にしている時に使われるエネルギー代謝量。即ち、何もせずにボーっとしているだけで消費されるカロリーを表しています。
この基礎代謝を上げることがダイエットではカギになります。
筋トレして筋肉を付けると筋肉は沢山のエネルギーを必要とする為に基礎代謝が上がります。安静にしていてもカロリーを消費するんですね。
僕がダイエット時に筋トレを推奨する所以です。
この基礎代謝が冬になると誰でも自然と増えていきます。
その理由はこんな感じ。
外気が冷えるともちろん体も冷えていきます。
人間にはホメオスタシスと言われる恒常性、いわゆる体を常に一定に保とうとする機能が備わっています。
なので体が冷えないように、体温を一定に保つように熱を産生するんですね。
内臓などの機能も高まり(冬に食べ物がおいしい所以)、常に熱を産生して体温を一定に保とうとします。
寒い時にブルブルッと震えますが、あれも体を小刻みに動かすことで熱を産生している「ふるえ産熱」という行為になります。
このような理由で基礎代謝が上がる冬は、安静時でもダイエット効果が期待できる最も適した季節なんです。
○冬がダイエットに最適な理由その2
【食べ物】
ダイエット時には避けたい食べ物が沢山ありますね。
揚げ物や甘い物などの高カロリー食と言われるもの。
じゃあ、火を通さないサラダや、茹でた鶏肉のささ身を食べていろ、と言われてもこういうのはホントに味気ないですよね。
野菜中心、高タンパク低カロリー食を意識すると、どうしてもこんな感じになってしまいます。
しかし、冬にはそんな食材を美味しく食べられる、大きな味方がありますね！
そう！鍋です！
鍋だと野菜を美味しく食べられ、味気ないという事はありません。
肉や魚などのタンパク質も揚げたり、焼いたりしていないので余分な脂を使わずにタンパク質を摂取出来ます。
こういった鍋料理を上手に使うと良いでしょう。
だからと言って腹がはちきれるくらい食べてしまっては本末転倒です(笑)
今ではいろんな味の鍋料理がありますので、いろいろ試すのも面白いですね。
○冬がダイエットに最適な理由その3
【運動に適した季節】
「寒いのになんで適してるんだよ！」
と思われるかもしれませんが、これが実はダイエットには最適な季節なんです。
ダイエットには筋トレのほかに有酸素運動を組み合わせるのがその王道。
筋トレで筋肉をつけて有酸素運動で脂肪を燃やして、という感じですね。
この有酸素運動は、ある程度の時間続けなければ効果がありません。
脂肪燃焼開始時間は最近まで20分と言われてきましたが、今では5分で開始すると言われています。
5分で開始すると言われても、時間が長ければ長いほどカロリー消費が増えることは明白です。
運動強度も少しきつめの運動を行う事で細胞内のミトコンドリアを活性化することが出来、エネルギーが沢山作られ体力の向上も期待できます。
しかし夏などは熱中症の危険性が高く、あまり長時間の運動はおすすめ出来ません。
その点、冬はそういった危険性も低く、しっかりと運動をする事が出来ます。
体も温まって一石二鳥！
しかし、水分補給はこまめに行ってくださいね。
